Veena Muthusamy
Lead Training Coordinator
Veena earned her MBA from Presidio Graduate School, where she focused on the movement that envisions business as a force for good. Prior to joining MAPS Public Benefit Corporation (MAPS PBC) she worked in Corporate Sustainability and Social Impact, where she helped companies reimagine their responsibility to their employees, the communities they operate within, and society as a whole.
At MAPS PBC, Veena is currently serving as a Training Coordinator, focusing on supporting the operations, admissions, and growth of the MDMA Therapy Training Program.
As a first-generation American with roots in South Indian farming culture, Veena found purpose at a young age protecting nature’s vision of abundance. The more she unraveled her passion for sustainability she realized there are core levers to push that would help people believe in the interconnectedness of all living things. She followed that thread to MAPS/MAPS PBC and is incredibly excited to support the fundamental idea that every person has an innate ability to heal.
In her free time, Veena loves long weekend hikes, all things Burning Man, and bringing her dog Lilly the Love Monster on all her adventures.
