Theresa Gorenc oversees Market Access at MAPS PBC.  In her role, Theresa is responsible for securing coverage and reimbursement for MAPS PBC’s therapeutics and ensuring accessibility for patients.  She joined MAPS PBC to leverage her knowledge of the managed care ecosystem and contribute to an area she is passionate about, mental health.  She believes psychedelic therapies play a role in shifting the treatment paradigm and healing patients affected by debilitating mental conditions.

Prior to joining MAPS PBC, Theresa spent much of her career in the pharmaceutical industry working for multi-national companies, such as Genentech and AbbVie.  Most recently she led market access analytics teams that contributed to the success of over 30 different medicines, including product launches in oncology, women’s health, and CNS.  She also held roles in market access marketing.  Prior to pharmaceuticals, Theresa was a healthcare lobbyist in Washington, DC.

Theresa holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
