Linda Iovanni, M.B.A., B.S.N., R.N., has spent the majority of her 30-year nursing career dedicated to Clinical Research. She has conducted, managed, monitored, and provided oversight of more than 1500 early to late phase, multidisciplinary clinical research sponsored and Investigator-Initiated clinical trials. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, her MBA from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional with Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
Linda started her research career as a research nurse coordinator many moons ago in 1991. Prior to joining MAPS PBC her most recent position was as the Director of Research at Maryland Oncology Hematology’s clinical research network providing executive leadership, compliance oversight and fiscal stewardship to a growing, large network of community oncologists and new psychedelic research program. She has developed a broad clinical research HSP, GCP, IND, IDE, DEA related site regulatory knowledge, and skills in business acumen to align competing agendas and enabling mission drive, purposeful work of her team. An accomplished leader in people, program and project management with a positive attitude and collaborative approach, Linda brings a true passion for medical discoveries, operational efficiencies, and mentoring.
As a nurse, easing the suffering of others is an innate quality in Linda and as a clinical research leader, she appreciates working for a company that aligns with her core values, working to meaningfully contribute to the impact psychedelic medicines could have to change the paradigm of psychiatric care.
