Katherine Miller

Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

Kate earned a B.A. in Anthropology in 2014 from Indiana University, Indianapolis. Prior to joining MAPS Public Benefit Corporation, Kate worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator for a global SMO conducting trials on a gamut of conditions to include, Vaccines, Insomnia, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Type II Diabetes, and Migraines. She also worked as a Clinical Research Technician and Social Media Specialist for IU School of Medicine, conducting trials on schizophrenia and initiating a social media campaign to raise awareness for mental health and promote their clinical research studies.

At MAPS PBC, Kate is currently serving as a Clinical Research Associate, supporting the Phase 3 MDMA-Assisted psychotherapy studies for patients with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Kate is thrilled to provide her previous experience and contribute to MAPS PBC. She has a passion to help normalize and break the taboo surrounding not only mental health, but also alternative mental health treatments, like psychedelics. She is honored to be able to contribute and is excited to see the cultural change that psychedelic therapy and the exploration of consciousness brings to our society.

Kate resides in colorful Colorado with her husband and two cardigan welsh corgis. In her free time, Kate enjoys hiking new trails, candid photography, reading & writing, crafting up a storm, impromptu dance sessions in the kitchen, and taking entirely too many photos of her corgis.
