Jessica Lombardi

Clinical Science Associate

Jessica Lombardi earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2019 from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County. Prior to joining the MAPS Public Benefit Corporation (MPBC), Jessica worked as a Senior Research Coordinator at the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. During her time there, Jessica quickly learned the inner workings of clinical trials from running day-to-day study visits to leading regulatory affairs. She also served as a guide, facilitating therapeutic psilocybin sessions with research volunteers that suffered from depression and anorexia nervosa. She has had the opportunity to observe the potential of psychedelic-assisted therapy first-hand, and that has led Jessica to take the next step in her career with MPBC.

At MPBC, Jessica is currently serving as a Clinical Science Associate, ensuring that clinical trials are conducted in compliance with governing regulations and a focus on research participant safety. She is excited to continue making an impact towards the accessibility of this intervention!

In Jessica’s free time, she enjoys crafting crochet creations, taking weekend hikes along the Appalachian trail and curling up on the couch with a good book and her Maine Coon cat, Forrest.
