
Jess Lin, M.P.H.
Associate Director, Adherence and Supervision
Jess Lin, M.P.H., is the Associate Director of Adherence and Supervision at MAPS Public Benefit Corporation (MAPS PBC), where she works to support the development of systems and infrastructure for the oversight of therapists in the delivery of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD in MAPS protocols.
Prior to joining MAPS PBC, Jess led public health research and intervention programs in public, academic, and not-for-profit settings, including at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley, and San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Her work has included projects to identify health needs and protective factors amongst an international cohort of trans women, conduct advocacy and policy work with youth experiencing homelessness, and support harm reduction services for people who inject drugs. Jess received a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Comparative Literature from Brown University in 2005 and a master’s in public health from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2010.
Jess is deeply committed to strengthening the ties between science and love. She is honored to be working with the MAPS PBC team in service of individual and collective wellness and liberation. She is a steadfast friend, avid reader, ecstatic dancer, and cat whisperer.
