James Acer is Chief of Staff at MAPS Public Benefit Corporation. Before joining MAPS PBC, James served as a consultant at Boston Consultant Group working primarily in the firm’s Social Impact Practice. Prior to that, he co-founded Manoa, a mission-driven restaurant in Somerville, MA. In his role at MAPS PBC, James focuses on organizational strategy, research development, clinical project management, and treatment dissemination. He is driven by an insatiable curiosity and the desire for a happier, more connected world. James holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Harvard University.
