Regulatory Publishing Specialist

Fairooz Faggouseh earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of California in Santa Cruz in 2013 and a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from San Jose State University in 2020. She brings this unique background and skill set to her role with the regulatory affairs team at MAPS Public Benefit Corporation.

Fairooz joins the MAPS family after 5 years of working in public and academic libraries, with experience ranging from program development and patron services to copy-cataloging, subject-specific research, and detailed documentation. In her most recent position with the Law Library at the University of California in Irvine, she developed a penchant for the intricacies of technical processes and data and information management within a specialized field. As a regulatory publishing specialist at MAPS PBC, Fairooz supports in the planning, development, and publishing of eCTD submissions by collecting, tracking, and organizing their components using various document management systems.

Fairooz has personally benefited from and believes in the power of alternative healing therapies and is very excited to work with an organization whose research aligns with these values. In her free time, she enjoys traveling both near and far; reading fantasy and sci-fi; exploring music, art, and culture through festivals; hanging out with her beloved pups; and adventuring to local farmers markets for good eats.
