Head of Global Pharmacovigilance

Diane Dahill is the Head of Global Pharmacovigilance at MAPS Public Benefit Corporation.

She received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, Boston, MA, her master’s degree in toxicology from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, and her doctorate of pharmacy degree from Howard University in Washington DC.

She worked in multiple major medical centers on the east coast, including All Children’s Hospital (John’s Hopkins) in St Petersburg, Florida, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Mass General Hospital, and Tufts Hospital in Boston, MA. She was part of a medical team at All Children’s Hospital under Dr. Robert Allen Good, a pioneer in bone marrow transplantation, where one of the first bone marrow transplantation centers in the country was developed. She returned to Boston and worked in oncology clinical trials at MGH and Dana Farber in the pediatric (Jimmy Fund) and adult population. Additionally, she worked as a consultant pharmacist at the Barbara McInnis House, a medical respite care/short term medical facility for homeless people that are too sick for life in a shelter.

For the last twenty years, she has worked in drug development in positions in medical affairs and pharmacovigilance. She continued to work in clinical trials in the field of oncology and rare diseases until she moved to the MAPS team in 2022, following her passion to help veterans with PTSD.

Diane, along with several of her high school alumni friends, created a scholarship fund in her hometown for high school students that could not pay their activity fees. She also volunteers with bike run fundraisers for veterans. She continues to conduct drug regimen reviews for veterans that need help with their medication regimens. She lives outside of Boston with her Newfie and close to her Mom, brother and his family. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her mom, niece, and nephew on vacation, playing with her dogs, and cooking with her friends.
