Bri Deyo
Data Management Manager
Bri comes to MAPS PBC from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where they spent 10 years in the School of Medicine and Public Health on various kinds of clinical trials and public health research. For the last 6 years, they coordinated and then managed the research team in the Program for Research, Outreach, Education, and Therapeutics in the Addictions (PROTEA). During their time at UW, they had the opportunity to contribute to all stages of research, from beginning to end, from grant application and protocol development to study conduct, data analysis, and publication. They love the creative process of turning ideas into testable hypotheses, and then putting protocols into action. They are looking forward to using their protocol development and clinical experience to guide their engagement with data collection, management, and reporting processes.
At MAPS PBC Bri is Data Management Manager, working in the Data Management and Systems Team. Bri’s last name rhymes with “Leo,” even though Harry Belafonte’s “Day-o” pronunciation is way more fun. They prefer gender neutral pronouns, but gendered ones work, too.
In their free time, Bri enjoys working on projects around the house and yard, gatherings with friends and family, building things, and exploring.
