
Brandon Sands
Clinical Science Associate
Brandon Sands earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2017 from Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining MAPS Public Benefit Corporation (MPBC), Brandon worked as a research assistant at Yale University where he helped create and assess interventions for addiction and HIV/STI prevention and assessed interventions for alcohol use disorder treatment.
At MAPS PBC, Brandon is currently serving as a clinical science associate, focusing on study safety. Brandon is passionate about disrupting cycles and underlying causes of addiction. Brandon joined MAPS PBC in order to further his desire to bring new clinical interventions to those with underserved clinical needs as well as underserved communities. In Brandon’s free time, he enjoys sculpting with clay and learning to play the bass guitar.
